Ambassador Alaina B. Teplitz will host a town hall for American citizens on Friday, March 3 from 4:30-6:00 pm. All American citizens in Nepal are invited to attend, but please know that advanced registration is required to enter. Register before Tuesday, February 28 by emailing consktm@state.gov with the full name and passport number of every member of your family who plans to attend. Adult citizens may be accompanied by non-citizen spouses and children. Minor citizens may be accompanied by non-citizen parents and siblings. The town hall program will include a welcome by the Ambassador and a presentation on the Embassy’s new air quality monitoring efforts, followed by a security update and general question and answer session. Light snacks and soft drinks will be provided.

The consular section will also provide a variety of citizen consular services on-site during the town hall, including the opportunity to submit annual voter registration applications and pick-up overseas taxpayer information. Visa staff will also be on hand to answer general visa questions. Please let us know in your RSVP email if you would like to arrange for any fee-based consular services during the event, including notary stamping and passport renewal.

Please register for this great event before Tuesday, February 28! Direct any questions to consktm@state.gov.

The old address, http://nepal.usembassy.gov, automatically re-directs to our new address, https://np.usembassy.gov.
