  1. All items will be sold “as is and where is”. The U.S. Government provides no guarantee, warranty, or representation as to the quality or condition of the items, or it’s fitness for any use/purpose.
  2. Each lot will be sold to the highest bidder.
  3. Each auction will be activated for a period of time clearly stating the start and end date.
  4. After the auction has ended, U.S. Embassy staff will inform the winners by e-mail/phone. Embassy staff will schedule a time for the winners to make payment and pick up sold items. (Please check payment procedures).
  5. Nabil Bank will provide a paid bill of sale document after payment is made. Buyers will need to bring this document in order to pick up items.
  6. The officer in charge of the sale reserves the right to reject any bid. All sales are final.
  7. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay to the appropriate Nepalese authority any applicable customs duties and/or taxes that are required for items purchased from U.S. Embassy.
  8. The buyer will need to bring their own vehicle and manpower to load and take away the items.
  9. Any paid items that are not picked up during the scheduled time frame will be disposed of, and there will be no possibility for their retrieval.
  10. U.S. Government regulations forbid the importation of this property into the United States.
